National Seminar on "STRATEGIES FOR MINERAL DEVELOPMENT IN THE COUNTRY AND SILVER JUBILEE - ANNUAL GENERAL BODY MEETING OF INDIAN SOCIETY OF APPLIED GEOCHEMISTS (ISAG) - September 18-19, 2018 organized by the Department of Geology
The Right to Information Act (RTI) is an Act of the Parliament of India "to provide for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens" and replaces the erstwhile Freedom of information Act, 2002. The Act applies to all States and Union Territories of India except Jammu & Kashmir.
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) as a post-accreditation quality sustenance measure. Since quality enhancement is a continuous process, the IQAC will become a part of an institution's system and work towards realizing the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance. The prime task of the IQAC is to develop a system for conscious, consistent and catalytic improvement in the performance of institutions.
The placement season runs through the course of the year commencing the last week of July through to March. Pre-Placement Talks are also conducted in this regard as per mutual convenience. Job offers, dates of interviews, selection of candidates etc. are announced through the Training & Placement Office.

Prevention of Caste Based Discrimination - UGC is continuously monitoring the Prevention of Caste Based Discrimination in Higher Educational Institutions. All the officials/faculty members of the University/Institute should be more sensitive while dealing with any incidents of caste discrimination.
